Junior Brooke Sharp’s golden goal with 19 seconds remaining in the first overtime gave the University of Florida soccer team a 3-2 OT win over Oklahoma State Friday evening in front of 1,149 at the James G. Pressly Stadium.

Florida sophomore Brian Johnson of Cocoa Beach and junior Preston Tucker of Tampa were named All-Americans by Baseball America.
Tucker had previously been chosen to Preseason All-America teams by Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Chris Rainey to play RB and WR in new offense
   
GAINESVILLE — Although Florida is switching from a spread offense to a pro-style one under Will Muschamp and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, expect to see one familiar quirk to the Gators' offense this fall.

Chris Rainey, who saw time at running back and wide receiver last season, will be used in a similar role this year.
