solo homer in the fifth inning Tuesday night, and fourth-ranked LSU
erupted for a six-run sixth inning en route to a 9-5 win over Tulane in
Alex Box Stadium.

Ark. – Good Friday turned into a great Friday at Bogle Park as the
Mississippi State softball team (21-18, 5-13 SEC) swept host Arkansas
(18-18, 2-14 SEC) in an afternoon doubleheader. The Bulldogs defeated
the Razorbacks in the first game of the three-game series, 2-1, before
clinching the series with a 7-2 triumph in game two.

Miss. – The Rebel offense put together a nine-run fourth inning and got
solid relief pitching to hold the Thoroughbreds in check as No. 24 Ole
Miss (30-16) defeated Murray State (21-25) by a score of 11-5 on
Wednesday night at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
