This week in Gamecock
Country the South Carolina Football team continues with the third of
four straight home games, taking on Auburn on Saturday, October 1st, at
3:30 p.m. The game is sold out and will air nationally on CBS. The
Gamecocks will be wearing custom uniforms in honor of the Wounded
Warrior Project’s “Believe in Heroes” campaign. Friday afternoon the
Equestrian team looks to follow up their season-opening win over Fresno
State taking on TCU at 2:00 p.m. at One Wood Farm in Blythewood. On
Friday night, bring your appetite with you for $1 Hot Dog Night at
Stone Stadium for a soccer doubleheader with the Women's Soccer team
taking on Kentucky at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Men's Soccer team vs.
Tulsa at 8:30 p.m. Women's Soccer will then finish out the weekend on
national television on ESPNU, hosting Vanderbilt on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
The first 300 fans will receive a free pink t-shirt as part of our Kick
for the Cure game to support the fight against breast cancer. Let's
have a large and excited crowd in pink for TV! Go Gamecocks!

Equestrian vs. TCU - 2:00 p.m. - Team posters available - Competitions are free and held at One Wood Farm in Blythewood. *Last week the Equestrian team defeated Fresno State, 16-3, and swept the MVP awards.
Women's Soccer vs. Kentucky - 6:00 p.m. - Bojangles gift card for the first 150 fans - $1 Hot Dog Night! *Women's
Soccer is currently 1-1 in the league after two double overtime games
this past weekend, a 2-1 win over Tennessee on Friday and a 2-1 loss at
Georgia on Sunday.
Men's Soccer vs. Tulsa - 8:30pm - Boys & Girls Club Night - $1 Hot Dog Night! *The Gamecocks are currently 1-0 in C-USA after a 3-2 victory over Memphis on Saturday.

Women's Soccer vs. Vanderbilt - 3:00 p.m. - Kick for the Cure- Pink shirts for the first 300 fans to support the fight against breast cancer *Senior
Kayla Grimsley broke the record for career assists (25) with her assist
to Kortney Rhoades in the Gamecocks' win over Tennessee and scored her
100th career point at Georgia on Sunday.
