Sixteen Aggies named to Big 12 Academic Football Team

grade point average on the 2011 Academic All-Big 12 Football Team.

Texas --- Sixteen members of the Texas A&M football team were named
to the 2011 Big 12 Academic Football Team, the league office announced.
Highlighting
the team for the Aggies was Jacob Russell, a redshirt freshman
petroleum engineering major from Sulphur Springs, Texas, who received
special commendation for a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Joining
Russell on the first-team squad (3.20 grade average and higher) were
seniors Ben Bredthauer, Blane Cheatham, Tommy Dorman, Evan Eike, Ryan
Tannehill and Michael Walker; and juniors Ryan Epperson and Steven
Terrell. Earning second-team recognition (3.00-3.19 GPA)
were seniors Randy Bullock, Trent Hunter and Allen Woodum; juniors
Steven Campbell, Michael Lamothe and Jonathan Stewart; and sophomore
Toney Hurd Jr.
